A no-nonsense school administrator, Cal Peterson, threatens to shut down the music program. Lily Waite, the school's music teacher, tries to save the program by having her students put on an impressive Christmas pageant, in hopes that he'll change his mind. Meanwhile, Cal finds himself falling in love with Lily.

Widower Andy, his son Opie, Aunt Bee and all of Mayberry return for more family life entertainment.

A young ladies' man, David, teaches his dating tricks to his lonely, widowed grandfather, and plays his best mind games in order to meet the woman of his dreams. But as David's games begin to fail him, Grandpa quickly transforms into the Don Juan of his nursing home. Slowly the teacher becomes the student, and it's up to grandpa to teach David that the best way to win the game of love is not to play games at all.

Widower Sheriff Andy and his young son Opie live with Andy's Aunt Bea in Mayberry, NC. Since Mayberry has virtually no crimes to solve, most of Andy's time is spent chatting with the locals and calming down his cousin Deputy Barney.

Wearing a friendly, wide grin, he ambles into the U.S. Air Force, and most folk will never be the same, including pint-sized Ben, big-city bruiser Irvin and a jittery aptitude tester. Then there is Sgt. Orville King who is an old-timer driven crazy by Will's gee-whiz efforts at friendship.

Living with them is Andy's Aunt Bee who takes great care of the home. Andy's deputy is his bumbling but neurotically hilarious cousin Barney Fife. As there is little crime in Mayberry, most of the story centers on the interactions of the characters and visitors to the town.
