Excellent...my favorite of around 20 books on CD that I've listened to over the past year. The plot although somewhat fictional is based mostly on fact. Added 03/01/2017 by Robert Kent C.

Eleven / by Myracle, Lauren,

Publication: New York : Dutton Children's Books, 2004 . 201 p. ; 22 cm. Date: 2004

Eleven is a really freeing book for kids at that age. It can tell you that, even though you're older than ten, and even though you feel like doing things you've never done, do it freely, and just know that being eleven is a part of your life where you can go, "YESSSSSS!!!!!" The annotated Anne of Green Gables by Montgomery, L. M.

Publication: Oxford University Press, 1997 24

This book was recommended by one of the library's employees, I can't remember which branch. It is such a wonderful book, and to think that I missed it, in my youth! But its never too late, to catch up, as far as reading good books. Now I am inspired to look for other "Anne" books to read! Added 03/05/2016 by Linda J B.

A book of bees : --and how to keep them / by Hubbell, Sue.

Publication: New York : Random House, 1988 . 193 p. : 25 cm. Date: 1988

This is one of the best written, narrative/biographical style books on bee keeping on the market. If you want to know the why and how of nuances in bee keeping, they can be found here. The author uses elegant prose and it is one of the few reference books that I enjoyed reading for the color and detail the author put into making bee keeping come to life for the reader. I wish more reference books had this much flare! FIVE STARS!!! Added 02/05/2016 by Katherine Ann H.
