Description
A Cuban fisherman sets out to sea after a bad fishing season, intent on hooking a fish large enough to provide for him and his family. He quickly gets his wish by hooking a large marlin; however, the marlin drags him out to sea for two days. Unwilling to let his catch go and fending off starvation and mania, he endures the struggle of a lifetime.
